Business Process Management has emerged as the glue that enables organizations to effectively integrate strategic initiatives, information technology investments and day-to-day operations, thereby enabling sustainable operational excellence.

Essentials of Business Process Management is the overview course for George Mason University’s Business Process Management Certificate Program. It a six-hour e-learning event (three live modules) that will provide foundational knowledge from the Association of Business Process Management Professionals’ (ABPMP) Comprehensive Body of Knowledge as well as practical roadmaps to guide your BPM journey.

  • To receive a Certificate of Completion, participants must, within 18 months, successfully complete all four core courses.
  • 100% attendance and participation are expected from participants.

  • Business Process Owner or Manager
  • Business leader who is responsible for cross-functional performance or customer satisfaction
  • Systems or Business Analyst
  • Process Improvement Team Leader or Member
  • IT Upgrade (ERP, CRM) Team Leader or Member
  • Candidate for CBPP, CBPA or CBPL certification from ABPMP
